Gehrig and I formally met sophomore year of college while attending Campbellsville University. We instantly clicked and a friendship blossomed quickly. I had started dating someone almost two months into knowing Gehrig. Gehrig had told me,, “We will date one day, I don’t know when, but I know we will.” The school year went on and Gehrig and I fell out of touch. The beginning of Junior year I helped Gehrig move into his dorm and my relationship ended. Gehrig and I seemed to have picked up right where we left off. Soon after that we started dating. It was a whirlwind of joy and quickly turned to love. As our relationship progressed we both knew God had sent us one another. On July 21, 2022 Gehrig popped the question. While I knew he was going to propose sometime soon I was completely caught by surprise. Our love has continued to grow and will continue to grow throughout our lifetime. We are counting down the days to November 9, 2024 and we are excited to have y’all come be a part of this big day. I thank God everyday for sending Gehrig to me, he reminds me how good God is. Love is precious and we will cherish it with each other for the rest of our lives.
